Questions

How do you score Gin Rummy?

After a knock, the knocker scores the opponent's deadwood minus their own. Going gin scores 25 plus the opponent's deadwood. If the opponent has equal or less deadwood than the knocker, it's an undercut and the opponent scores the difference plus 25.

What is an undercut?

When the player who did not knock has the same or less deadwood than the knocker, after laying off. They score the difference plus a 25-point bonus.

What are line bonuses?

At the end of the game each player gets 25 points for every hand they won. They are added to the final score shown under the board.
